TAGARO was born from the heart of the Itria Valley, where the passion for viticulture has been handed down for three generations. We are a family-run winery that has been able to combine artisanal knowledge with the most advanced technology, with full respect for the land and its seasons. Each bottle is the fruit of patient work and a clear vision: to produce wines that tell the story of Puglia with elegance, intensity and truth. From the vineyard to the cellar, everything is cared for with love and precision, because for us wine is not just a product, but the most sincere expression of our identity.
The Vineyards
There where our essence is born
Among the white hills of the Valle d’Itria, our vineyards stretch out like a living mosaic, caressed by the Apulian sun and the wind coming in from the sea. This is where it all begins: in a generous land, rich in limestone and history, which gives the grapes character and freshness. We grow indigenous varieties such as Primitivo, Negroamaro, Verdeca and Fiano Minutolo, respecting the rhythms of nature and valuing each bunch. Each row tells a piece of our identity, each harvest is an act of love for the land. Our vineyards are not only the place where wine is born: they are the beating heart of TAGARO.

Where it all began
A large ancient key turns in the lock and slowly opens a heavy wooden door: stepping through it is like entering a story. It is the old palmento, the beating heart of what was once the cradle of Masseria Tagaro. A timeless trullo, where for generations grapes and vines, industrious hands and passionate hearts have intertwined. The old press is still there, a silent witness to the work of man and the seasons that have followed one another. Around it, tools of bygone days and glass demijohns tell of a tradition that has the scent of the earth and the voice of memory.
Every harvest was an achievement, every vintage a promise: that of an increasingly good wine, improving with experience and love. Today Masseria Tagaro is a modern reality, equipped with cutting-edge technology, but deeply tied to its history. Those same innovations allow us to guard quality with respect, honoring the knowledge of three generations of winemakers.
